WunderLocke Hotel in Munich’s Sendling District
On Tuesday, we had the chance to check out the new WunderLocke by @findingedyn Hotel in Munich’s Sendling district, and we’d love to share our impressions!
With 360 apartments of various sizes and amenities, WunderLocke is the ideal choice for short or extended stays. From studios to duplexes to penthouses—there’s a perfect home for everyone here. The hotel offers self-contained kitchens, a pool, a gym, a sauna, and a yoga studio for a relaxing getaway. The common area features the exclusive Michelin-starred restaurant @mural.farmhouse, as well as co-working, meeting, and event spaces.
The culinary philosophy at Mural Farmhouse is rooted in the principles of the farm-to-table movement and the ethos of “Eat local, drink natural.” All ingredients are sourced directly from the region whenever possible, including seasonal herbs and vegetables from Wunderlocke’s own rooftop garden. Fish, meat, and other products come from local producers within a 40-kilometer radius of Munich.
The aparthotel also features a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the Alps to the south. The bar offers a selection of classic cocktails and wines, which can also be enjoyed in the restaurant. The menu features a rotating selection of street food. Tables at the rooftop bar cannot be reserved—we therefore recommend registering in advance to gain access to the rooftop garden.
