Last week, I had the pleasure of accepting a fascinating invitation from Korbinian Kohler to visit Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach GmbH & Co. KG .

As part of the Korbinians-Kolleg, whose overarching theme for 2023/2024 is “Our Society – A Diagnosis of Our Times,” we had the opportunity to attend an inspiring lecture by Prof. Dr. med. Josef Aldenhoff on the topic “Does the Soul Age? And What Can Be Done About It?”

Aging presents an enormous challenge that we often prefer to ignore, even though the problems associated with it have long been known.

We often focus on the physical changes. But from a psychiatric perspective, it is the soul that defines us as human beings.

Prof. Aldenhoff spoke with us about the most important aspects of medical aging prevention, emphasizing that it is hard to imagine a beautiful soul without a healthy body.

The presentation was extremely engaging and sparked a lively discussion among the large group.

We continued this discussion afterward with a small group of wonderful people over a festive dinner.
